I am an “UNWINDER”……….I will help untwist you from life’s twistings!
What I Offer
Massage Therapy
Massage therapy is a practice that involves manipulating the muscles to soften and release tension and other problematic issues in the body. It is known to relieve stress and emotional, physical, and mental blockages. I believe our bodies start accumulating stress and tension from infancy, depending on the person’s situation. As we go through life and experience joys and heartaches, the body keeps getting blockages. Our daily routines will reflect in the muscles and cause aches and pains that build on each other until softened and released. There are many ways this can be done. I use different techniques to “talk” to the muscles to get them to respond. One of the most important things that people need to remember is, sometimes it takes a while to get the muscle to soften enough to release. This may take a few visits and maintenance massage is recommended for long-term relief.
Since my massages are tailored to the individual and not priced by what I do or use, there are only 3 options.
30 minutes (Specific area only)………..$40
60 minute…………………………………….$70
90 minute…………………………………….$100
Guided Breathwork and Stretching
Many people think that massage is supposed to be a way to wind down and relax. While this is true, I prefer to wake the body up. The way I wake the body up is by breathwork and moving the client around. Positioning the client differently will help ensure the muscles are manipulated from as many angles as possible.
I use my own breathing techniques to guide the muscles into releasing. At times I will guide the client to breathe in certain areas of the body so there is vibration, fresh oxygen, and blood flow to the muscles. It is so important to involve the client. It makes such a difference when there is active participation on the client’s end. I know it’s nice to lay there and fall asleep, but do you really want to spend your money with me by taking a nap? Or, would you rather participate in your own health and well-being?
About Stephanie
I spent many years in the wrong career because I was out there trying to do life like everyone else. Trying to make the money to pay the bills and I wasn’t happy. Pushing, pushing the heavy stone up the hill to only have it roll back down on me! How frustrating! Not only that, my body was getting beat up by all of these jobs.
As a girl, I seemed to know how to take care of others naturally. My hands and mind just seemed to know what to do.
It was when I was truck driving that I started seeking a massage therapist. There’s almost nothing worse for you than sitting in the same position for hours on end. I decided to stop doing that and go to school for massage therapy because I could see the value in what it gave me. I have never looked back!
I use myself as the classroom and my body as my teacher. As I heal my own body, my mind and emotions are cleared and I can live the life I’ve always dreamed about!
It is my wish and my purpose to give this relief to anyone else seeking it. If a person is willing to take the time to heal, and it does take time, then the value they will find in their lives will be beyond anything they will be able to comprehend. It will have to be felt!
I love being a massage therapist! I am happy to give you relief from a body that is screaming for relief!
See you soon!
About Silver Leaf Massage
I have been a licensed massage therapist since 2016. I attended the Utah College of Massage Therapy in Orem, UT, and have used my skills on hundreds of people.
I tailor each massage to the client and their needs. No massage is ever the same.
I have been using my own body as an experiment to see how breath can help us release emotions and trauma stuck in the body. By using my breathing techniques, along with stretching exercises and my own mental and emotional evaluations, I have been able to regain so much more flexibility and balance. As I’m able to soften and release the muscles, the trauma and emotional baggage can then have an outlet to escape. This frees my mind and body to then be able to focus on how I want to use my body going forth.
I am certain that massage therapy should be incorporated as a maintenance tool for life! Sometimes you have to break down to build up…………
My goal is to work with the client to help them regain movement by helping them to learn how to breathe and giving them exercises physically, mentally, and emotionally to do at home. When they come for the next visit, I can then guide them with breath and physically pull and push out the work they’ve done from their muscles.
Since my massages are tailored to the individual and not priced by what I do or use, there are only 3 options.
Why Choose Me
Your Health on My Mind
Being a massage therapist is a part of who I am. I can’t imagine doing something else. I want to give my client’s the most benefits for their money. I use a combination of oil and lotion to give a good glide but still be able to push and pull if I need to. The music is chosen to send different beats to the muscle and to help my hands move better. I am not a spa. I don’t pretend to be a spa. My only wish is to bring happiness and peace to your body and mind!
