Meet Becky

Assisting people to optimize brain function and bring healing for mental health.

— ❦ —

Becky Erkkila has been a registered nurse for 17 years and is the owner of Hope Healing Haven in Powell, Wyoming. Through neurofeedback therapy, mindset coaching, and other holistic services, she works with clients to assist them in becoming the best version of themselves.

Even as a nurse, Becky prefers holistic options over mainstream medications. Every service she offers is designed to help the body regulate and heal itself, getting to the root of the problem rather than covering it up.

Her guiding belief is simple: challenging things happen, but we get to choose how to respond.

What I Offer

Holistic therapies that help the brain and body regulate and heal themselves.

Neurofeedback therapy at Hope Healing Haven

Neurofeedback

The direct training of brain function. Sensors on the scalp let the brain see its own activity from moment to moment, and it learns to regulate itself better, helping with stress, sleep, mood, attention, energy, and focus. Nothing goes into the brain, and it is not a stimulation technique.

Mindset coaching at Hope Healing Haven

Mindset Coaching

Your mindset is the lens you see life through: the assumptions and expectations you hold about yourself, your life, and the situations around you. By understanding and shifting that mindset, you can improve your health, decrease stress, and become more resilient to life’s challenges.

SOQI bed and Chi machine at Hope Healing Haven

SOQI Bed & Chi Machine

Far infrared (FIR) hothouse therapy energizes cells, expands capillaries, and increases blood flow, while the Chi machine’s gentle figure-8 motion provides a full-body massage that supports circulation, oxygen, and the movement of cerebral spinal fluid.

Ionic foot bath at Hope Healing Haven

Ionic Foot Bath

A gentle detox thought to work through a type of osmosis, helping the body release toxins into the water and giving the slow-moving lymphatic system, the body’s garbage collection system, some much-needed help.

The Hope Healing Haven Approach

Helping the body do what it was designed to do: regulate and heal itself.

How Neurofeedback Works

Training: Neurofeedback is the direct training of brain function. Self-regulation is the brain’s core skill, and the brain learns it through feedback on its interaction with the world.

The session: Sensors are applied to the scalp to detect brainwave activity (the EEG). The tiny signal is amplified and key brainwave frequencies are extracted so the brain can see itself in action.

Safe and gentle: Nothing goes into the brain. This is not a brain stimulation technique.

What it helps: Stress reactivity, quality of sleep, alertness, energy level, mood and appetite regulation, attention, and cognitive function. It is training in optimum functioning.

What Matters to Becky

  • Holistic options first, with every service chosen to help the body regulate and heal itself.
  • Getting to the root of the problem instead of only treating symptoms.
  • Making sure everyone leaves better off for having spent time with her.
  • Offering services no one else in the area is offering, and truly wanting to help people live fuller, happier lives.

About Becky

A nurse, author, and survivor whose own healing journey inspired Hope Healing Haven.

— ❦ —

Becky comes from a large family and grew up in Southern Idaho and Northern Utah. She married young and started a family, and her first two marriages were difficult and abusive in their own ways. That experience set her on a path of self-awareness, and she decided to take full responsibility for her life and relationships.

Over the past 18 years, that decision has led her through many types of therapy, self-help classes, and holistic healing modalities. Along the way she was led to people who became crucial in her healing process, and that experience inspired her to open a business built around holistic therapies.

Becky bravely shares her story to raise awareness about the victim mentality of domestic violence. Her courage and determination now go into supporting others, regardless of their circumstances, to elevate them to a level of thriving.

Originally from Utah, Becky is fond of her new home in Powell, Wyoming. She is married with 10 children, and her favorite thing to do is spend time with her family.

Client Testimonials

What clients have shared about working with Becky.

The time was well spent

“For over a year I could feel depression settling into me. No energy, weight gain, and a very poor attitude had overcome me. I spent a week with Becky doing neurofeedback, and I also enjoyed the SOQI bed. But the best was the life coaching! Becky is good at what she does. The time was well spent, and my life is getting much better.”

Ro Lene Preator

A world of difference with my anxiety

“I was diagnosed with extreme anxiety and panic attacks years ago and hated being on medications. Through the neurofeedback and coaching, there’s a world of difference. I can fall asleep now when I get into bed, and I haven’t had a single panic attack since working with her. Becky gets to the root of the problem and helps your body heal itself. I would highly recommend her to anyone wanting to change their life for the better!”

Desi Doxey

Life-changing for our family

“I have adopted kiddos from foster care, and they have been through tough stuff. Adding Becky’s services to our existing therapy and medications has been a huge blessing. She truly cares for my children and does everything she can to make their sessions effective. They feel seen and heard by her. We are seeing lots of growth and improvement.”
