A small college town with a surprising amount of support.
Powell sits in the Big Horn Basin of northwest Wyoming, about twenty-five miles from Cody, with Heart Mountain to the south and the Beartooths on the horizon. Among the farm fields and the Northwest College campus there is a quietly growing community of practitioners, and most of them are within a few blocks of each other.
Indigo Thrive on North Absaroka Street is the hub. It is a metaphysical shop first, but it also hosts visiting members from Kirby and Montana for monthly sessions, so a single trip downtown can put you in front of a massage therapist, a Reiki practitioner, and a shop full of crystals and books.
