Care Is compassionate and consistent. Care Is love in action.
Charis Christopher is a licensed massage therapist, Trauma Touch Therapist, and end-of-life companion and consultant. She has lived her entire life in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains and has professionally practiced massage therapy for the past five years here in Powell, Wyoming.
Care Is, LLC is a play on her name, and it is also a promise. Her mission is to embody and impart care for the wellness of your body, mind, and spirit, whether that means time on the massage table, somatic listening sessions, or a conversation about death and dying.
Her favorite season is fall, and she enjoys reading with a large mug of whatever is hot.

Trauma Touch Therapy
An individualized series of 10 somatic-listening sessions: learning to honor the body you have, attuning and attending to its needs, organically regulating your personal nervous system, and experiencing deep acceptance in the journey of life.
End-of-Life Companion & Consultant
Chats about death and dying, advanced care planning assistance, guided imagery and visualization, legacy projects, respite caregiving and practical support, sitting 11th-hour vigil, reprocessing grief after a passing, and family workshopping. EOL packages are available on her website.
Massage Add-Ons
Make any massage your own with cupping, T-bars, hot stones, aromatherapy, a longevity scan, or quiet nap time to close out your session.
90-Minute Massage Membership

No one should have to consider death alone.
Charis has always had a fascination and a fear of death. After experiencing several losses and personal close shaves, she made the decision that no one should have to consider death alone. She wants to be the difference that she never had. She won’t have all the answers, but she will be there to ponder with you, however that looks.
Yes, Care Is is a funny play on her name. Care Is compassionate and consistent. Care Is love in action. Her mission is to embody and impart care for the wellness of your body, mind, and spirit.
Her vision is to witness acceptance and empower individuals, families, and communities experiencing stress and grief to feel it and grow through it, thriving despite circumstances, and always finding the “gift in the wound.”
