Candles and rituals made to carry intention, not just a nice scent.
Lauren Aldous didn’t set out to become a healer. She just knew that everything she made needed to carry more than a nice scent or a pretty label. It needed to carry intention and love.
Every piece starts the same way: with focus, with calm, and with a clear sense of what she wants that item to bring into someone’s life. She believes energy transfers, and that what goes into a candle while she makes it doesn’t stay with her. It goes home with the person who holds it.
Heart Mountain Candle Co began with Lauren’s own migraines and a year of research into what is really inside store-bought candles. Today it is a Cody, Wyoming lifestyle brand of pesticide-free soy candles, ritual kits, and natural skincare, all hand-poured in small batches.

About Lauren
Intention is real, energy matters, and healing can live in the smallest everyday things.
Over time, people started telling Lauren things she didn’t expect to hear: stories of shifts they felt, moments that changed after using something she made, and a sense that what they were holding was doing more than they could explain. She doesn’t take that lightly. It is humbling, and it is the reason she makes things the way she does.
With a background in psychology and a deep understanding of scent and emotion, Lauren creates products designed to bring warmth, intention, and meaning into everyday spaces. Since launching, she has sold thousands of candles at craft fairs, through local shops, and online, and she keeps adding new scents and clever products.
Being part of the Coalition of Healers feels like finding a community that already understands this: that intention is real, that energy matters, and that healing can live in the smallest, most everyday things.

01 · The Beginning
A candle that hurt to burn
Lauren always loved the warmth candles brought to her home, until she realized they were triggering her migraines. Unscented candles didn’t help either. Rather than give up what she loved, she got curious.
02 · Growing
A year spent getting it right
From January 2023 to September 2024, Lauren researched what was actually in the candles on store shelves: hidden chemicals, toxic wick cores, and fragrance oils that turn harmful when heated. She spent a year testing waxes, wicks, and oils until she landed on pesticide-free soy, organic cotton wicks, and clean fragrance oils made for high heat.

What started as one woman solving her own migraines is now Heart Mountain Candle Co: candles and rituals crafted for people who want warmth and scent without the trade-off. Every piece is still hand-poured in small batches, in Cody, Wyoming.
