Sometimes we all need a moment to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with ourselves. Reiki offers a quiet space to step away from the demands of everyday life and simply be. Whether you are new to energy work or have made Reiki part of your self-care practice, each session is an opportunity to relax, reset, and focus your attention inward.
Reiki is a gentle Japanese energy practice that is often used to promote relaxation, reduce everyday stress, and support a sense of balance and well-being. During a session, Danita uses light touch or works just above the body with the intention of supporting deep relaxation and a peaceful state of mind.
Danita is a Level 4 Master-level practitioner offering traditional Usui Reiki, Crystal Reiki, and certified Animal Reiki. Each session provides a calm, intentional environment tailored to your individual experience.

Traditional Usui Reiki
A gentle, grounding session in the traditional Usui lineage. Danita uses light touch or works just above the body to calm the nervous system, release what feels stuck, and help you realign with your own intuitive healing power.
Crystal Reiki
Reiki paired with stone and crystal energy work. Crystals are placed with intention to support the flow of the session and deepen relaxation, balance, and a sense of clarity.
Animal Reiki
Certified Animal Reiki for the animals in your life. With years as a veterinary technician and horse trainer, Danita brings a calm, unforced presence to horses, dogs, and other companions. Ask her about arranging a session.
Plants, Home & Energy
Danita welcomes conversations about garden and native plants, the energetic principles of plants and foods, energetic alignment in the home, and energy clearing techniques for home and property.

Where to Find Danita
Home base: A dedicated healing hut on her property in Kirby, Wyoming, in the southern Big Horn Basin. Sessions are by appointment.
In Powell: Once a month at Indigo Thrive, 144 N. Absaroka St, with scheduled and walk-in clients welcome. Dates are posted on the Indigo Thrive and Coalition Facebook pages.
Reiki sessions: $65.
Animal Reiki: Ask Danita about a session for your horse, dog, or other companion.
Before You Book
- Reiki is received fully clothed, lying down or seated. Wear something comfortable and give yourself a little unhurried time afterward.
- Sessions use light touch or hands held just above the body. Tell Danita which you prefer, and share anything you would like her to know.
- Reiki supports relaxation and balance and complements, rather than replaces, care from your medical providers.

01 · The Beginning
Growing up in Sunlight Basin
Danita came to Wyoming at fifteen and grew up in Sunlight Basin when the Chief Joseph Scenic Highway was a dirt road. The mountains, plants, and animals of that valley shaped how she pays attention to the world.
02 · Growing
Animals, plants, and a classroom
Years as a veterinary technician and horse trainer taught her to read energy in a quiet, unforced way. Twenty-five years teaching art and ethnobotany in Wyoming schools taught her how to share it.

Reiki in Kirby and Powell
As a Certified Usui Reiki Master, Danita offers traditional Reiki and crystal energy work from a healing hut on her property in Kirby, and once a month at Indigo Thrive in Powell. She is excited to meet you.
